What Does AWS S3 Charge per 1,000 Requests?
AWS bills every API call. It groups them into write-type requests (PUT, COPY, POST, LIST) and read-type requests (GET, SELECT and the rest). DELETE and CANCEL requests are free, and LIST requests in any class cost the S3 Standard PUT rate.

A tiny per-request price adds up when your code touches the bucket constantly. A thumbnail pipeline making 10 million GET requests a month pays $4 on S3 Standard, and 10 million PUT requests cost $50. On AIOZ Storage, object requests carry no fee: you pay for stored GB and downloaded GB. The Vector Database and Super Intelligence Memory are billed differently. Egress to the internet is usually the largest line on an S3 bill for anything you serve to users. AWS gives you 100 GB a month free, aggregated across all AWS services and regions. Beyond that, us-east-1 charges by monthly volume:

Where Cheaper AWS Storage Classes Beat AIOZ Storage
Standard-IA, One Zone-IA, Glacier Instant Retrieval and Glacier Flexible Retrieval all cost less per GB than AIOZ Storage's $0.017. Each comes with conditions. Standard-IA and One Zone-IA bill a minimum of 30 days, so if you delete an object after 10 days you still pay for the other 20. Glacier Instant Retrieval and Glacier Flexible Retrieval have a 90-day minimum, and Glacier Deep Archive 180 days. Reading data back from the IA and Glacier classes adds a retrieval fee per GB. One Zone-IA also keeps your data in a single Availability Zone, which is part of why it costs less.
So if you keep cold archives you rarely read, Glacier Instant Retrieval at $0.004 per GB-month beats AIOZ Storage on storage outright. If you read that data often, the $0.03/GB retrieval fee and higher request prices eat the saving. AIOZ Storage has one storage rate, charged hourly, with no minimum duration or retrieval fee.
Cross-Region Replication: A Cost AIOZ Storage Doesn't Have
If you replicate a bucket to a second AWS region, you pay $0.02/GB for the inter-region transfer. You also pay for storage in the destination region and for the replication PUT requests. Replicating 50 TB from us-east-1 to us-west-2 adds about $1,000 in transfer for the first sync, before ongoing changes.
AIOZ Storage has no region-to-region copy to bill. Its redundancy is built in: every object is Reed-Solomon erasure coded across AIOZ DePIN nodes, per AIOZ Storage engineering (2026), with no replication rule for you to set up.
